Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Fiesta, 2013-2014 Fusion, 2015 Mustang, 2013-2015 Escape and C-Max, 2012-2015 Focus, 2014-2016 Transit Connect, 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ, and 2015 MKC vehicles.
A door that is not securely latched could open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Browning Court on April 14th, 2020 at approximately 2:00am.
Home security footage shows two masked white males approach several vehicles in the driveway checking for unlocked doors. A blue 2017 Ford Fusion was unlocked with the keys left in the vehicle.
Ford recalls over 600,000 Pickups because ABS Valve May Remain Open after ABS Event increasing risk of Crash
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that the Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2010 Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Lincoln Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles because the ABS valve may remain open after an ABS event.
If the valves do not properly close, additional brake pedal travel may be required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say the man and woman involved in the shoplifting incident on December 14th, 2019 at Walmart, 2315 Madison Street, in which a firearm was displayed were spotted again today, Wednesday, December 18th.
Around 3:15pm, Clarksville Police were notified by Walmart’s Loss Prevention, 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, the man and woman involved flashing a gun at the Sango Walmart were now at the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard store. The couple had exited the store and entered a Ford Fusion.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report on March 3rd, around 5:00pm, a juvenile was hit in the area of Reynolds Street and Vine Street.
According to the driver, a group of juveniles were playing near the roadway and a 14 year old unexpectedly darted into the roadway and the driver of a Ford Fusion was unable to stop the car and struck the teenager. The juvenile was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, treated, and released.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that there was a home invasion in the 800 block of Biglen Road around 7:52am on Thursday, February 28th.
A man arrived at home, exited his vehicle and was approached by two men outside of his residence displaying handguns. He was hit in the head with a handgun and his BMW keys were taken.
He was able to get away from the men and ran behind a building at which time the men entered his residence. They were inside the house a short period of time and then fled the scene in the stolen BMW.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify two men that may have information related to a vehicle burglary which occurred February 17th, 2019 around 4:00am.
A 2013 Ford Fusion had a window broken and a purse along with some personal items were taken from the vehicle.
The two men were in the area when the burglary happened on the parking lot of Club Stilettos, 1360 College Street.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have charged five Hopkinsville Kentucky residents in conjunction with felony shoplifting in Clarksville.
Clarksville Police were called to a business in the 2800 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, around 9:00pm, Saturday, October 20th, 2018 in reference to four females being involved with shoplifting and exiting the store with over a $1,000 in merchandise.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers are investigating a fatality vehicle accident that occured on June 4th, 2017 in the area of Franklin Street near University Avenue. The male driver, Alberdeen Townsend, was deceased at the scene. A female driver has injuries and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has since been released
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Mr. Townsend had a brief verbal altercation with the victim while she was sitting in her Ford Fusion in Summit Heights. She drove away in an attempt to deescalate the situation.
