Nashville Sounds announce 2019 Promotions

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club has announced its full promotions schedule for the 2019 season. The 70-game home schedule in First Tennessee Park’s fifth season features 15 fireworks shows, four themed weekends and multiple giveaways.

Single-game tickets will be available for purchase beginning Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 9:00am at the First Tennessee Park ticket office, online at www.nashvillesounds.com, or by phone at 615.690.HITS ext. 2.

Opening Weekend presented by First Tennessee begins on Thursday, April 4th when the Sounds host the Iowa Cubs at 6:35pm.

Fort Campbell to hold Independence Day Concert and Celebration, July 4th

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – On July 4th, 2017, Fort Campbell Morale Welfare and Recreation will their annual Independence Day Concert and Celebration.

MWR invites you to join them the carnival starting at 1:00pm. Enjoy the rides, games and yummy carnival food then relax on the grass to enjoy our free Salute to the Nation, concert featuring our own 101st Airborne Division Rock Band and Country Artist – RaeLynn, followed by fireworks!

RaeLynn is a singer, songwriter and military Spouse who was a contestant on The Voice in season two. Her debut album, WildHorse, was released on March 24th, 2017 and landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart.

Nashville Sounds play eight straight home games starting Saturday

 

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The first-place Nashville Sounds begin a nine-day, eight-game homestand on Saturday, June 25th when they welcome two American Northern Division opponents to First Tennessee Park.

The first series is a four-game set against the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.

Following a team off day on Wednesday, June 29th, the Sounds host the Oklahoma City Dodgers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers from June 30th-July 3rd.

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds continue their #LastCheerAtGreer with the team’s sixth homestand of the year at Greer Stadium, which begins this Thursday, June 26th.

The eight-game homestand features a pair of four-game series against division rivals, as the Sounds will first play the New Orleans Zephyrs (Miami Marlins affiliate) from June 26th-29th and then resume the I-40 Cup Series with the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals affiliate) from June 30th-July 3rd.

Nashville Sounds lose 6-3 to Round Rock Express at Greer Stadium Tuesday Night

 

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds bats came alive late in Tuesday night’s contest at Greer Stadium, but the home team was unable to top the Round Rock Express, losing by a 6-3 margin.

Trailing 6-1, Nashville started the ninth with three consecutive hits. Outfielder Caleb Gindl, 2-for-4, hit a single to right field to begin the rally. First baseman Hunter Morris, 2-for-4, and Khris Davis followed with run-scoring doubles. Unfortunately for the Sounds, that is where the rally ended.
