Nashville, TN – Unemployment dropped in more than one-third of Tennessee’s 95 counties in November, according to newly released data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).
Unemployment remained the same in November, as it was in October, at 3.4 percent for Montgomery County.

Nashville, TN – Newly released data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) shows 38 counties experienced a drop in unemployment during October, while rates remained the same in 24 counties, and increased in 33 counties.
Montgomery County’s unemployment rate dropped 0.1 percent in October from 3.5 percent to 3.4 percent.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee’s unemployment rate held steady in October. The new rate of 3.4 percent matches the previous month’s rate, according to data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).
While Tennessee’s jobless rate remained the same between September and October, over the past year, Tennessee’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate experienced a slight uptick from 3.3 percent to 3.4 percent.

The unemployment rate in Montgomery County was 3.8 percent in August, down 1.0 percent from July’s 4.8 percent.
