Clarksville-Montgomery County School System announces Director of High Schools, Liberty Elementary Principal

 

Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS)Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) has selected Dr. Rosalyn Evans as the Director of High Schools, replacing Dr. Mason Bellamy who was named Chief of Academics and Schools for Metro Nashville Public schools. Dr. Evans has over 35 years of experience in education, previously serving 22 of those years in CMCSS.

Clarksville Montgomery County School System announces Administrators

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System - CMCSSMontgomery County, TN – The Clarksville Montgomery School System (CMCSS) has filled two administrative positions.

Dr. Mason Bellamy has been named Director of Elementary Schools, replacing Dr. Ann Griffin who retired this month. Dr. Bellamy most recently served as Director of  Services for Exceptional Children and served as interim principal at Kenwood Middle School. Dr. Bellamy is the former principal of Hazelwood Elementary, which was recognized by the state of Tennessee last year as a Reward School for growth and achievement.

Mason Bellamy Named Head of Special Education, Jessica Harris Selected Hazelwood Principal

West Creek Elementary gets New Assistant Principal

 

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontgomery County, TN – Michelle Rhodehamel has been named assistant principal at West Creek Elementary School, replacing Mason Bellamy who was appointed principal at Hazelwood Elementary.

Mrs. Rhodehamel has taught kindergarten and fifth grades during her 10-year tenure with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Her experience includes teaching at Northeast, Kenwood and West Creek Elementary Schools.

Hazelwood Elementary School Principal Selected

 

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontgomery County, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County Director of Schools Mike Harris today announced that Mason Bellamy, Ed.D. will serve as principal of Hazelwood Elementary School.

He replaces Rosanne Sanford who was named principal of the Carmel Elementary School, which opens in August 2012.

Dr. Bellamy has served as assistant principal at West Creek Elementary School for the past year and a half and has five years teaching experience at Sango Elementary School. He earned his doctorate in education from Trevecca Nazarene University where he also earned his Master’s in teaching. He completed his B.A. in political science at the University of Kentucky.

Hazelwood, located on Tiny Town Road, serves 800 students.

New assistant Principal at West Creek Elementary announced

 

Mason Bellamy will be the assistant principal at West Creek Elementary beginning Feb. 16. He will be filling the position held by Lynne Rains who was named principal of the school effective the same date. Currently, Bellamy teaches fourth grade at Sango Elementary School.

He earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Kentucky. He received his M.A. in teaching at Trevecca Nazarene University as well as his administration endorsement; and, he is working toward his doctorate in educational leadership, which is to be completed by May.

Beth Unfried will be taking the principalship at Norman Smith on Feb. 24 at which time Maribeth Sisk will become assistant principal at Sango Elementary.
