Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball travels to Baton Rouge to face LSU

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – No. 25/RV Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (17-6, 7-3 SEC) and RV/RV LSU (17-5, 7-3 SEC) will meet for the second time this season, as they face off Thursday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, LA, at 6:32pm CT (7:32pm ET).

This will mark the 67th meeting in a series that began in 1977, with Tennessee leading 51-15 after the Lady Vols defeated the Tigers, 63-58, in Knoxville earlier this season on January 26th.

UT and LSU enter the game tied for third in the Southeastern Conference standings at 7-3, and the winner will take sole possession of the three spot.

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – No. 23/23 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (15-4, 5-1 SEC) is back at Thompson-Boling Arena on Sunday for the annual “We Back Pat” game. The Lady Vols welcome #RV/RV LSU (14-4, 4-2 SEC) to Rocky Top for a 12:02pm CT contest.

The Lady Vols are currently tied for second place in the league standings with Mississippi State at 5-2. South Carolina is in the catbird’s seat with a 6-0 league mark.

LSU, meanwhile, is tied for third along with Kentucky and Texas A&M at 4-2.

Tennessee Lady Vols take on LSU at SEC Tournament, Thursday

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN –  No. 8 seed Tennessee Lady Vols (18-11, 7-9 SEC) will meet No. 9 seed LSU (16-12, 7-9 SEC) at noon on Thursday in the second round of the SEC Tournament.
 
Tip-off is slated for 1:02pm CT at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC, for a contest that is being televised by the SEC Network and carried by the Lady Vol Radio Network and SiriusXM Radio. The winner of Thursday’s game will advance to face No. 1 seed Mississippi State (27-2, 15-1 SEC) at noon on Friday.
 
The Lady Vols closed out the regular season on Sunday with a dominant 81-56 victory at Ole Miss, moving from 10th to 8th in the SEC standings.

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (12-7, 1-5 SEC) is back in action on Sunday in its third of four straight home games, as LSU (12-6, 3-3 SEC) comes to Thompson-Boling Arena for the annual “Live Pink, Bleed Orange” game. 

The contest’s visibility will be used to raise awareness toward the fight against breast cancer. UT head coach Holly Warlick and LSU’s Nikki Fargas have been active participants in that fight with their fundraising organization Champions for a Cause.

#24/RV UT Lady Vols are on the road Sunday to take on the LSU Tigers

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – The #24/RV Lady Vols (16-10, 7-6 SEC) will look to move up in the tightly contested SEC standings as they head to Baton Rouge for the penultimate road game of the season against LSU (8-18, 2-11 SEC). Tipoff is slated for 1:00pm CT/2:00pm ET at Pete Maravich Assembly Center and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU and available online at WatchESPN.

Sunday will be LSU’s home “Play 4Kay” game, coming on the heels of UT’s “Live Pink, Bleed Orange” game. Play 4Kay events are held in honor of late NC State coach Kay Yow, who lost a long and hard-fought battle with breast cancer on January 24th, 2009.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund has raised more than $5 million for research.
