APSU student Mallory Fundora wins state’s Harold Love Outstanding Community Service Award

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – An Austin Peay State University (APSU) social work student is one of five students in the state to win the Harold Love Outstanding Community Service Award. 

Mallory Fundora – who just finished her second year at Austin Peay State University – won the award for her work with Project Yesu, a charity she founded when she was 11 to feed and educate children in Uganda.

Austin Peay State University freshman nonprofit executive Mallory Fundora finishes first year at APSU

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University freshman Mallory Fundora, founder and chief operating officer of the nonprofit Project Yesu, recently completed her first year at APSU, but before she can relax and enjoy her summer, she has to make a three-week business trip to Africa.

Project Yesu to hold Annual Orphan Luncheon Fundraiser November 18th

Project YesuClarksville, TN – Project Yesu, a Clarksville nonprofit which supports orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, is holding their annual Orphan Luncheon fundraiser on Sunday, November 18th, 2018 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Belle Hollow.

The theme of this year’s luncheon is “Celebrations & Stories,” where organizers will share memories of where they’ve been, and where they plan on going in the future.

Montgomery County Volunteer Stars Award Recipients Named

 

Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Congratulations to Mallory Fundora, David Wesner and Serenity House Women’s Shelter for being selected the Montgomery County recipients for the 2015 Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards.

Fundora, the Youth Award recipient, is a child with a passion and vision like no other. At age 11 Mallory saw an issue, the many needs of the children of Uganda, and decided to create her own non-profit organization, Project Yesu, and focus on helping those children.
