The ministry at 605 Providence Boulevard, Clarksville, will receive a special shipment of food from Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee at 8:00am Friday.
Clarksville, TN – Several Clarksville food relief agencies are stepping up to help people who lost food supplies during the weekend’s power outages.
The City of Clarksville Office of Housing and Community Development, which helps provide resources and homeless services, is working with the Community Action Agency, Loaves and Fishes, Manna Café Ministries and Urban Ministries to coordinate the effort.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water sewer main line rehabilitation contract work is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, May 23rd-24th, 2018 on Commerce Street, weather permitting.
Contract workers will have a section Commerce Street closed from Hiter Street to South Second Street at 9:00am until 6:00pm Thursday evening, when the work is anticipated to be finished, as follows.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water sewer main line rehabilitation contract work is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, May 21st-22nd, 2018 on Commerce Street, weather permitting.
Contract workers will begin closing sections of Commerce Street and South Second Street at 9:00am Monday morning through 6:00pm Tuesday evening, when the work is anticipated to finished, as follows.
Clarksville, TN – Safe Place, a new transitional center to help homeless families, was dedicated Wednesday by Urban Ministries and the City of Clarksville.
Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan; Beverly Dycus, Executive Director of Urban Ministries/Clarksville; Clarksville Director of Housing & Community Development Keith Lampkin; and Sherry Smith, senior housing coordinator for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency; joined with a crowd of about 60 citizens to dedicate the facility and celebrate the new community resource.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers are currently investigating two Armed Robberies that occurred on September 5th, 2016 within 34 minutes of each other with similar suspect descriptions.
The first Robbery occurred at 8:41pm at the Dollar General on Madison Street near the intersection of South Third Street. Money was taken from the safe.
Clarksville, TN – Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm, announced today a partnership with First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville to launch the Presbyterian Legal Assistance Network (PLAN).
Staff attorneys from Legal Aid Society’s Clarksville office will provide a free legal clinic at a meal program, Loaves and Fishes, which operates out of the church six days per week.
