Topic: Vanderbilt Baseball
On Tuesday, March 17th at 6:30pm, the Commodores will play the Belmont Bruins in a non-conference game. The 2020 matchup marks the fifth consecutive year the two programs have played at First Horizon Park. The following Tuesday, March 24th, Vanderbilt and the Lipscomb Bisons will meet for a non-conference tilt at 6:30pm. Nashville Sounds play four games against Omaha Storm Chasers at First Tennessee Park starting Thursday

Vanderbilt’s Tim Corbin named Collegiate Baseball National Coach of the Year
Corbin led Vanderbilt to a 51-21 record, the Dores’ second straight 50-win season and third in the last four years. The Commodores returned to Omaha for the second time in four years winning the national title in just the school’s second-ever trip to the College World Series. Vanderbilt Commodores beat Texas 4-3 at College World Series will play for National Championship
Vanderbilt loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th inning and won the game on an infield hit from Tyler Campbell that scored right fielder Rhett Wiseman from third.
