This spring, 17 Austin Peay State University students are moving a step closer to careers as professional artists by hosting public exhibitions of their work.
The students are enrolled in the Senior Exhibition class, taught by professor of art Gregg Schlanger. The class requires students to present their work in a public setting to earn their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
The APSU Department of Art has scheduled these student art exhibitions on the main campus for this spring, and all shows are open to the public.
The seniors scheduled to present are the following:
- March 15-20: Sun Meunier, Trahern, 108.
- March 22-27: Dina Mayse, Trahern, 108.
- March 29-April 1: Shiera Gorum, Trahern, 108.
- April 5-10: Erin Slauson, Trahern, 108.
- April 12-17: Leslie Collum, Trahern, 108.
- April 19-24: Brittany Fleming, Trahern, 108.
- April 26-May 1: Susan Cheek. Trahern, 108.
- April 26-May 1: Visual communication group exhibit featuring graphic design work by Matthew Binkley, Rick Ellison, Melanie Hildebrandt, Erica Lampley, Jamianne Plutowski, Yvette Campagna, Brent Hall, Jamie Holland, John Perkins and Christa Williams, Trahern Gallery.
