Austin Peay Sports Information
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball coach Carrie Daniels has added Savannah Foister, of Clarksville, to the 2014-15 squad.
Foister, a 5-10 guard/forward, played four seasons at Todd County Central High School where she averaged 8.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior.

“Savannah is a tough, versatile player who will be a great addition to this 2014 class as well as our overall team,” said Daniels. “As a coach you always want players that want to be in your program and Savannah is a player that had other options but her heart was with Austin Peay and that in itself speaks volumes.”
As a junior, Foister averaged 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Patriots.
Foister becomes the fifth member of the women basketball team’s 2014-15 recruiting class. Forward/center Sydney Gooch of Franklin, KY, signed a letter of intent during the spring signing period. Center Brianne Alexander, of Smyrna; guard Falon Baker, of Portland; and guard Madison Rich, of Bee Spring, KY, each were members of the fall signing class.
