Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting January 9th, 2015

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday January 10th, from 7:00am until 12:00noon, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 in both directions in order to dump rock for installation of crane pads. This is part of the bridge replacement project on SR 237 over I-24 (Exit 8).

Troopers will be utilized.

Lane Closure

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Friday January 9th through Wednesday January 14th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

On Friday January 9th through Wednesday January 14th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River
From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Pedestrian Crosswalk Bridge Repair over I-40 near 2nd Avenue
On Friday January 9th, 9:00pm through Monday January 12th, 5:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions, between MM 210 and MM 211, for work on the pedestrian bridge.  Two lanes will remain open westbound. One lane will remain open eastbound.
