Clarksville Police are looking for Dontavius Hawkins with Aggravated Assault and Vehicle Burglary Warrants

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report a 15 year old was robbed after making arrangements through the Letgo app to meet and sell a pair of “Jordan” shoes to a man in front of a business in the 500 block of Providence Boulevard.

The 15 year old and another family member met with the potential buyer, later identified as Dontavius Hawkins, around 5:00pm on June, 1st. After a brief discussion about the shoes, Hawkins snatched the shoes from the juvenile who was inside of a car, and took off running around a building.

Dontavius Hawkins is wanted by Clarksville Police for Aggravated Assault and Vehicle Burglary.

The juvenile gave chase on foot and, at some point, Hawkins pointed a handgun at the 15 year old and warned him to run away.

The juvenile discontinued the chase and called 911. The investigation lead to the identification of Dontavius Hawkins as the perpetrator and Aggravated Assault and Vehicle Burglary warrants were secured.
