Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s (APSU) baseball team opens its fall practice slate with a 2:15pm, Monday, September 16th practice at Raymond C. Hand Park.

The Governors have two scrimmages scheduled for their opening week – a 3:00pm, Tuesday, scrimmage followed by a second scrimmage at 3:15pm, Thursday. A third scrimmage is possible Sunday but will be determined.
Practices and scrimmages are open to the public, who are invited to sit in the grandstand at Raymond C. Hand Park.
The Governors will host Columbia State Community College in a Saturday, October 6th contest at Raymond C. Hand Park. Two weeks later Austin Peay will host Wabash Community College in a Tuesday, October 23rd extended exhibition contest. The Governors October 6th exhibition will be part of a much anticipated fall baseball reunion event planned by Austin Peay’s Office of Alumni Relations.
Austin Peay also will hold its annual scout day, Wednesday, October 3rd at Raymond C. Hand Park. The fall practice schedule will conclude November 1st with the annual Red-Black World Series taking place in the week leading up to the conclusion of the schedule.
The Governors will hold several intersquad scrimmages throughout the fall slate with a weekly schedule available at LetsGoPeay.com, Austin Peay’s official athletics website.
