Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Sewer line rehabilitation work schedule for May 3th-7th

Customer sewer services temporarily inaccessible

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) sewer main and lateral line rehabilitation contract crews will work on the following streets in North Clarksville this week beginning today, May 3th, through Friday, May 7th, 2021.

Sewer Main Line Rehabilitation Work Areas

  • Brandywine Drive
  • Bunker Hill Road
  • Concord Drive
  • Delaware Drive
  • Shiloh Road
  • Stone Mountain Road

Sewer Lateral Line Rehabilitation Work Areas

  • Alabama Avenue
  • Louisiana Avenue
  • High Point Road
  • Orman Drive
  • Stone Mountain Road
  • Bel Air Boulevard

While work is performed, customer sewer service connections to the main line will be temporarily sealed off. It will be important for customers to limit water and toilet use that sends water into household drains and sewer lines to help the work move forward.

Sewer main rehabilitation is part of the department’s ongoing sewer rehabilitation program designed to provide citizens with a well-maintained and efficient sewer collection system.
