Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a road closure on Madison Street from Union Street to Academy Avenue and on South Fifth Street from Madison Street to Commerce Street for water service line repair on Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 8:00am.
Traffic will be detoured to Union Street, Commerce Street, and Academy Avenue. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.
The water service line repair work is anticipated to be finished, and the roads opened by approximately 3:00pm.
