Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Water Outage, Road Closures Old Russellville Pike and Rossview Road areas

Water outages and low water pressure to affect residents

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water valve replacement work on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at 9:00pm and will turn off water service in the Old Russellville Pike and Rossview Road areas. The following streets and roads will be affected.

Thursday, July 31st, 9:00pm to 6:00am on Friday, August 1st

  • Old Russellville Pike (Sanders Road to Stone Container Drive)
  • Rossview Road (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to 238 Rossview Road)
  • Joy Drive
  • Honeycomb Court
  • Hickory Trace Road
  • Jeffery Drive
  • Dana Court
  • Cedarbend Court
  • Cedarbend Road
  • Cedarbend Circle
  • Olive Circle
  • Crabapple Court
  • Tulip Poplar Court
  • Raleigh Drive
  • Raleigh Court
  • Harnett Court
  • Stokes Road (Warfield Boulevard to Raleigh Drive)

Low water pressure is possible in the vicinity during the work.

The intersection of Rossview Road and Old Russellville Pike will be closed, and traffic will be detoured to Joy Drive, Centennial Drive, Sanders Road, and Rossview Road to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or to choose an alternate travel route when possible.

The water valve replacement is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the road reopened by approximately 6:00am on Friday, August 1st.
