Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers and retirees are giving back to their community by volunteering at the Fort Campbell Child Nutrition Program food distribution sites, helping to package and hand out meals while following COVID-19 Coronavirus safety protocols.
To support Army Families during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, the Fort Campbell Child Nutrition Program is offering free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals for children up to the age of 18.
Soldiers with the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program and even retirees have joined the volunteer force to help keep distribution sites running.
Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program Fort Campbell Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) are working with FedEx Freight to deliver approximately 500 live Christmas trees to Fort Campbell Soldiers as part of the Trees for Troops program.
Trees will be available Saturday, December 8th, 2018 from 9:30am until 1:30pm for junior enlisted Soldiers and 2:00pm-4:30pm for any active duty Soldiers, while supplies last. (Military ID Cards will be checked).
Fort Campbell’s Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers president logs 4,000 volunteer hours helping others

Fort Campbell, KY – Staff Sergeant Cody Mackall, Fort Campbell’s Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers president, loves volunteering and giving back.
Mackall has been volunteering in one form or another all of his life and brought that volunteer spirit with him into the Army.
“Helping others makes me feel like I am doing right to the world, and who knows, maybe my one little thing that I did could mean the world to someone,” he said.
Since 2012, Mackall has logged more than 4,000 hours of volunteer service between BOSS, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts and working with Special Olympics.
“Volunteering is something that I do not like to be rewarded for doing because to me it just feels right,” he said
Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) volunteers at Manna Café on the third Saturday of each month.
Manna Café is a local soup kitchen where BOSS participants will have a chance to serve, clean and organize the shelves.
Meet at Warrior Zone (3910 Indiana Avenue) at 8:15am.
Fort Campbell, KY – Active Duty Soldiers and their families will receive a special holiday delivery from FedEx on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017. FedEx Freight will deliver more than 300 live Christmas trees to help service members and their families celebrate the holidays.
Fort Campbell Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers and the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, will host the 2017 Trees For Troops initiative. Trees will be available at the Division Parade Field parking lot on a first come first served basis from 9:30am to 1:30pm for junior enlisted and 2:00pm to 4:30pm for any Active Duty Soldiers.
Fort Campbell, KY – Join Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) for Las Vegas at Fort Campbell Casino Night at Cole Park Commons on July 11th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
This is an ADULTS only event. There is no cost to play.
When you arrive, you will be given a stake of “funny money” to use in your gaming. There will be poker, roulette, craps, slot machines and black jack tables where you can bet your funny money and maybe win some great prizes. «Read the rest of this article»
Fort Campbell, KY – Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Halloween activities at Fort Campbell, including Operation Friendly Ghost, have been rescheduled for Friday, November 1st, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
The Provost Marshal Office will still coordinate with volunteers from the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) and Campbell Crossing housing office to help monitor busy intersections and control traffic during heavy trick-or-treat times. Join BOSS as they provide transportation and entry fees for Single Soldier Parents and their children to the Nashville Zoo.

Fort Campbell, KY – Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center will start November off with Elves at Work on November 4th at 2:00pm. This fun filled event will help get the recreation center ready for the holiday season by assisting us in decorating the building.
On November 12th, D.W. Recreation Center will be open celebrating Veterans’ Day and will be available for all of your recreational needs.
