Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club has announced its full promotions schedule for the 2018 season. The 70-game home schedule at First Tennessee Park features 16 fireworks shows, themed weekends, bobblehead/figurine and t-shirt giveaways, and special guest appearances.

Dueling pianos presented by First Tennessee take center stage on Opening Day when the Sounds welcome the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Tuesday, April 11th. The Opening Day festivities include the first post-game fireworks show of the season.
Standing Room Only Crowd Of 11,043 Marks Third-Largest At First Tennessee Park
Nashville, TN – The Sounds jumped all over the Redbirds early on Saturday night and held on for a 4-1 victory in front of a sellout crowd of 11,043 at First Tennessee Park.
The packed house was the 17th sellout in the inaugural season at First Tennessee Park. The win gives Nashville an 8-7 lead in The Tennessee Lottery I-40 Cup series with the final game set for tomorrow evening.
The home team put up a two spot on the scoreboard in the first inning courtesy of their third home run of the series. Jake Smolinski took his turn trotting around the bases when he stayed back on a John Gast changeup and just cleared the right field wall. Joey Wendle scored on Smolinski’s seventh home run during Triple-A play this season and the Sounds were off to a 2-0 lead.
Faith Night Concert and Girl Scout Night Highlight Sounds Five-Game Homestand With Cross-State Rival Redbirds
Nashville, TN – Beginning on Wednesday August 5th, the Nashville Sounds will commence a five-game homestand with cross-state rival Memphis (Triple-A St. Louis Cardinals). The Redbirds currently lead the Tennessee Lottery I-40 Cup Series, 6-5.
The Sounds have some exciting events coming up, including a Back-to-School Backpack giveaway, Girls Scout Night, Faith Night Concert and Fox 17 Friday Night Firework show.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds return from the All-Star Break to open a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers (Triple-A Royals) on Thursday, July 16th.
Thursday’s game features a jersey salt and pepper shakers giveaway.
The weekend series will include a tote bag giveaway, autograph day, apron giveaway, Fox 17 Friday Night Fireworks and the third Faith Night of the season.

The promotional calendar includes 36 giveaway nights, 14 fireworks shows, three jersey auctions, a new twist on Throwback Thursdays, and even more family-friendly entertainment as baseball comes home to Sulphur Dell.
The fun starts with a boom at First Tennessee Park, as the Sounds have a total of 14 firework shows that are set to take place after every Friday home game, and a final show after the home season finale on Thursday, September 3rd.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds continue their #LastCheerAtGreer with the team’s seventh homestand of the year at Greer Stadium, which begins this Monday, July 21st.
The eight-game homestand features a pair of four-game series, as the Sounds will first play the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Colorado Rockies affiliate) from July 21st-24th and then the Oklahoma City RedHawks (Houston Astros affiliate) on July 25th-28th.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds will host the first ever “Past and Present Doubleheader” presented by The Nashville SCENE and Family Leisure on Sunday, June 29th at Greer Stadium.
Gates will open at 4:00pm for an action-packed day that will celebrate the storied history of Nashville baseball, beginning with the 1864 Nashville Vintage Baseball League holding its inaugural all-star game at 4:30pm as the North All-Stars battle the South All-Stars.
