Parents of late Austin Peay State University student establish the Tyler Head Agriculture Memorial Endowment

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) agriculture student Tyler Head passed away on February 3rd, 2012. He was only 20 years old. In May of that year, his parents, Chuck Head and Gina Head Hieber, made a gift to the APSU Foundation, establishing a pass-through scholarship to honor his memory.
Tyler Head “had a genuine love of agriculture,” according to his father.

Nashville, TN – This Legislative Update is Part 1 of 3 regarding three bills passed this year by Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts.
Public Chapter 1039 – The legislation was sponsored by State Representative Joe Pitts (D-Clarksville) and Senator Kerry Roberts (R-Springfield). This bill was brought to the House and Senate sponsors by Gina Head-Heiber, mother of Tyler Head who was killed by an impaired driver in Clarksville on his way to class at Austin Peay State University.

Ceremony to Commemorate the Passage of the Tyler Head Law held in Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – On Friday, May 3rd, 2016 at 10:00am, Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts and State Senator Kerry Roberts joined Gina Head-Heiber, the mother of Tyler Head, along with her family, friends, and guests to unveil the first sign for the new memorial sign program recognizing victims of accidents involving a DUI driver along state highways.
The ceremony was held at 1503 Madison Street, where the Cumberland Grille restaurant was located.

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, June 3rd, at 10:00am, Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts (D-Clarksville) and State Senator Kerry Roberts (R-Springfield), and other invited guests, will join Gina Head-Heiber, mother of Tyler Head, to unveil the first sign of a new memorial sign program recognizing victims of accidents involving a DUI driver along state highways.
The brief ceremony will be held in the parking lot of 1501 Madison Street (parking lot of the former Cumberland Grille restaurant — next to Bridgett’s garden center. Please do not park in the garden center’s lot.)
