The Predators were coming off of a tough loss last night in Chicago and blew an early two goal lead to hang on for the win. Columbus fought a valiant fight, considering that half of their team is on injured reserve. Nashville drew first blood at 4:55 of the opening period when Mikael Granlund netted a goal over the shoulder of Kings goaltender Jack Campbell and the Predators took a 1-0 lead. Nashville Predators fall at home to the Dallas Stars 3-1
On a night that honored former Predator Jordin Tootoo, the Predators were unable to crack the Dallas defense, specifically the goaltending of their back up goalie, Anton Khudobin. The first goal of the night was scored by Calle Jarnkrok at 9:35 of the first period, who ripped a shot from the circle past Khudobin for the early 1-0 lead. Nashville Predators fall to Anaheim Ducks in shootout loss 2-1
The Predators had seven power plays on the night and couldn’t convert on any of those opportunities. The power play continues to plague Nashville and it was the teams weak link tonight. Nashville Predators defeat San Jose Sharks 5-3
The win prevents the Sharks from clinching a playoff spot. Back up goalie Juuse Saros, who started in place of Pekka Rinne, put on a clinic in goal with 39 saves. The win gives Nashville 111 points on the season as their quest for the President’s Trophy continues. Nashville Predators defeat Anaheim Ducks 4-2 extend win streak to 10
In front of another sold out Smashville home crowd and the NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, the Predators fought off a furious Anaheim third period assault to clinch the victory. Craig Smith got Nashville on the board first at 5:26 of the first period, with his wrist shot that beat Anaheim goalie John Gibson for the early 1-0 lead.
