Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are searching for two missing children. The children were last seen wearing pajamas at their Cross Ridge Drive residence Thursday, September 5th around 5:30pm, when one of the family members left for work.

Around 7:30pm, after another family member came home, the children were already gone and the pajamas they were wearing were left in the bedroom.

Clarksville Police are asking for the public's help locating Missing Children Traveon Thompson Jr. and Le'Asia Thompson.

Clarksville Police report Pedestrian killed on Martin Luther King Parkway

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 around 6:05pm, Clarksville Police report a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 52 year old female was traveling west on Martin Luther King Parkway (76 Connector) when a 35 year old male pedestrian, wearing dark clothing, was walking south across the westbound lanes of the Martin Luther King Parkway near Economy Drive.

He crossed into the path of the Hyundai and was hit, left the ground crashing into the windshield, over the hood and then came to rest on the roadway.

AAA reports New Vehicle Infotainment Systems Create Increased Distractions Behind the Wheel

 

AAAWashington, D.C. – New vehicle infotainment systems take drivers’ eyes and attention off the road and hands off the wheel for potentially dangerous periods of time, according to new research from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

Drivers using in-vehicle technologies like voice-based and touch screen features were visually and mentally distracted for more than 40 seconds when completing tasks like programming navigation or sending a text message.

TBI issues Amber Alert for Damaryious Crout, Amaylah Manley, Tavious Crout, Adrik Manley

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationLexington, TN – A Tennessee Statewide AMBER Alert has been issued on the behalf of the Lexington Police Department for 2-year-old Amaylah Manley, 3-year-old Tayvious Crout, 1-year-old Damaryious Crout, and 8-year-old Adrik Manley.

The children along with their mother, 31-year-old Amanda Manley Crout, were taken at gun point by Octivas Crout, father of Tayvious and Damaryious, at 3:50am on May 28th, 2017.

Octivas Crout (also goes by Octavious Woods) is wanted for kidnapping Damaryious Crout, Amaylah Manley, Tavious Crout, Adrik Manley and their mother Amanda Manley Crout.

Clarksville Police releases update on Vehicle Crash that injured Four at Governors Square Mall

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, December 4th a silver Hyundai Sonata left the roadway near Governor’s Square Mall and slammed into a retaining wall at a significant rate of speed just after 11:00am.

Investigator John Reyes has identified the driver of the Sonata as Derek Doker, a 30-year-old Clarksville resident with a suspended driver license and previous arrests for driving on a suspended license and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Clarksville Police reports Vehicle Crash injures Four at Governors Square Mall

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN –  Shortly before 11:00am Sunday, December 4th, a silver Hyundai Sonata left the roadway near Governor’s Square Mall and slammed into a retaining wall at what police are calling a significant rate of speed.

The call was dispatched to first responders at 11:00am. District Three Patrol Officer Coz Minetos was the first responder to arrive, at 11:02am.

“This is one of the most dramatic impacts I’ve ever seen,” stated Minetos.

Hyundai recalls over 130,000 Sonatas due to possible Brake Fluid Leak

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2011 Sonata vehicles manufactured from December 11th, 2009, through September 1st, 2010.

The affected vehicles may experience a brake fluid leak from the two brake lines that connect the brake system’s master cylinder to the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU) due to insufficient seal between the inner brake hose and metal brake line fitting.
