Mint Indian & Greek Buffet is not your typical buffet. The spices, the sauces, and items are robustly cooked and seasoned to perfection. There are five buffet tables providing a wide selection of Indian and Greek cuisines; including all you can eat Gyros.

Faceoff Challenge a Recipe for Culinary Excellence at 2nd Brigade’s MSG McCain Dining Facility

 

Fort Campbell, KY2nd Brigade Combat Team - StrikeThe 2nd Brigade Combat Team’s award winning MSG McCain Dining Facility held a Face-off challenge on Wednesday August 29th 2012 that saw Specialist Albert Feeley who was facing off against Specialist James Ruane to find out who is the best of the best. The theme for this face-off was Indian food.

The face-off challenge tests the skill, speed, and ingenuity with two up-and-coming food service specialist competing before a panel of judges and take everyday items and turn them into an extraordinary meal. Each of the chefs had to create a meat dish, starch, bread, and desert which was then rated by a panel of judges on taste, creativity and presentation.

Tandoor owner plans to rebuild, expand

 

co-india-food.JPGNasir Hakeem announced today that he is planning to rebuild and re-open his restaurant, Tandoor, and its popular Hookah room, at the same location near Governor’s Square Mall. The restaurant was gutted by fire on November 25, barely a year after its opening; it was open for business on the day of the fire. All patrons and staff escaped safely. Damage to the site was estimated at $150,000.

Tandoor featured the cuisine of India, a selection of dishes that included a variety of Naan (breads) and a number of dishes including a Chicken Tikka and a marsala version, Lamb Kabobs, Fish Pakora and more. The decor was as exotic as the menu, and Hakeem plans to rebuild the interior in similar style. «Read the rest of this article»
