TBI issues Amber Alert for 9 year old Jordan Gorman from Cheatham County

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued a Statewide AMBER Alert on behalf of the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office for Jordan Gorman.

Jordan is a 9-year old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, 4′ tall and 75 lbs. Jordan was last seen at his residence at approximately 11:30am on November 15th, 2020 in Joelton, Tennessee.

Jordan was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey, short-sleeve tee-shirt with red stripes.

TBI charges Cheatham County Woman with Voluntary Manslaughter

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Cheatham County woman, charged with voluntary manslaughter.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents joined deputies with the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office in investigating a fatal shooting that occurred just before midnight Friday on Cotton Harris Road in Joelton.

APSU Women's VolleyballFranklin, TN – The Austin Peay State University beach volleyball team earned their seventh win of the season after grounding UT-Martin 4-1 Wednesday afternoon in the Franklin Beach House.

The Govs will end their inaugural 2017 campaign Saturday and Sunday with the APSU Beach Bash at Nashville Beach in Joelton, TN.

Clarksville Police look to identify Scooters Pub & Grill Burglary Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police request the public’s help to identify the suspect in the video below of the January 28th burglary of Scooters Pub & Grill.

“He is about six feet tall and around 210 to 230 pounds,” stated Detective Channing Bartel. “The suspect appears to have worn white tennis shoes and has an emblem on the front left side of his coat,” Channing added.

APSU Women's Volleyball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – In just 33 days, Austin Peay State University’s inaugural beach volleyball season will get underway in Birmingham, Alabama with the first of 28 matches during the two-month campaign.

The Governors will open their first-ever season in the sand with an eight-day road trip, beginning at UAB’s Blazer Beach Duals in Birmingham, March 4th-5th.

Wintery Mix expected for Clarksville Montgomery County Sunday night

 

National Weather ServiceClarksville, TN – The National Weather Service reports another wintry mix for the northwest part of Middle Tennessee Sunday night. A low pressure system will pass south of Middle Tennessee tonight into Sunday, bringing widespread rain and a few thunderstorms to the area.

TWRA announces 2013-14 Winter Trout Stocking Schedule

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced its 2013-14. TWRA plans to release approximately 90,000 rainbow trout into Tennessee waters from December through March.
