Kenwood High School students to hold Dance-A-Thon to help Sick Children, May 11th

Kenwood High SchoolClarksville, TN – This May, Kenwood High School is on a mission to help sick and injured children in Middle Tennessee. To achieve this ambitious goal, the school’s Dance Marathon, a student-led organization, will host a Dance-A-Thon at noon on May 11th, 2019 at the school.

“We are raising funds and awareness through Dance Marathon for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, which treats children from our area and provides life-saving care to sick and injured kids in need,” Lynda Courtney, Kenwood teacher and event organizer, said. “We need your help to reach our goal for the kids.”

Clarksville High School Volleyball advances to District 10-AAA Semifinals with win over Kenwood High School

 

Clarksville High School WildcatsKenwood High SchoolClarksville, TN – Clarksville High School’s volleyball team earned a spot in the semifinal round of the District 10-AAA Tournament, October 3rd, as they defeated Kenwood High School 3-0, by scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

The Lady Wildcats (11-4) will next face the winner of the Henry County High School-West Creek High School quarterfinal match – which was also played on October 3rd.

Northeast High School Volleyball rallies to defeat Kenwood High School in District 10-AAA matchup

 

Northeast High School EaglesKenwood High SchoolClarksville, TN – Northeast High School’s volleyball team saw District 10-AAA rival Kenwood High jump out to an early 1-0 lead, in its match September 10th, but rallied to take the next three games to defeat the Lady Knights 23-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

In fact after winning the first game, Northeast saw the Lady Knights race out to an 11-4 lead in Game 2, with Kenwood being on the verge of putting a strangle hold on the match in the Lady Eagles own gym.

Rossview High School Volleyball continues undefeated run through 10-AAA with win over Kenwood High School

 

Rossview High School HawksKenwood High School KnightsClarksville, TN – Despite getting off to a little bit of a slow start, Rossview High School’s volleyball team continued its season opening undefeated run August 28th with a 3-0 District 10-AAA win over Kenwood High School, by scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-6.

Kenwood (0-5, 0-5 District 10-AAA), who has continued to improve every time out, despite still looking for its first win, opened up the match by scoring the first two points of Game 1 on a block by Morgan Corland and Diamond Foster followed by a kill by Foster.

West Creek High School Volleyball downs Kenwood High School to remain undefeated in District 10-AAA

 

West Creek High School Coyotes - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – It wasn’t always pretty for West Creek High School’s volleyball team, in their District 10-AAA match versus Kenwood High School August 26th, but the Lady Coyotes came away with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-8) victory to remain undefeated in District 10-AAA.

West Creek (3-1, 3-0 District 10-AAA) trailed early on in both the first and second games, before rallying to take both against a scrappy Kenwood (0-3) squad.
