I’ve seen a lot of young people in Clarksville use sports as a vehicle to advance their education.  Baseball, football, soccer, tennis and golf are typically the activities you see kids participating in.  But, rodeo?

In the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, self defense is just one of the many benefits of the training. It’s a discipline.  It’s respect.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on “grappling”, especially ground fighting.  BJJ was formed from Kodokan judo ground fighting, and eventually came to be its own combat sport.

Clarksville Park and Recreation announces Martial Arts Seminar and Black Belt training to be held at Crow Community Center, September 19th-20th

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Crow Community Center will host the first-ever Kenpo-Kobujitsu Seminar and group black belt examination Friday, September 19th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, September 20th from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
