Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN – Savana Hodge, Miss Davidson County, was crowned Miss Tennessee USA Saturday at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. Bailey Guy, Miss Greater Nashville, was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA.

The new title-holders and the runners-up received numerous prizes and scholarships, including custom-designed jewelry from Clarksville Jeweler Elliott Herzlich.

Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN –  Nearly 90 delegates will adorn Clarksville for the 2018 Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Pageant on October 12th-14th, 2017 at the Austin Peay State University Music and Mass Communications Building.

Organized and produced by Greenwood Productions, the upcoming pageant marks Clarksville’s 19th year to host the event.

Tourism in Montgomery County Tops $211 Million in 2016

 

Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Kevin Triplett today announced Tennessee tourism’s direct domestic and international travel expenditures reached an all-time high of $19.3 billion in 2016, up 4.7 percent or almost $1 billion, over 2015. Numbers for Montgomery County increased to $211 million, up 3.0 percent, or $6 million, over the prior year.

For the ninth consecutive year, Montgomery County has ranked 11th among Tennessee counties for tourism spending. Ninety-two of the state’s 95 counties saw gains in tourism spending from 2015 to 2016.

Rivers and Spires Festival’s annual Miss River Queen and River Teen pageant this weekend

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The search is on for this year’s Miss River Queen and River Teen. The annual pageant will be held April 4th, 2015 in Clement Auditorium on the campus of Austin Peay State University.

The pageant begins at 7:00pm and doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10.00 per person and may be purchased at the door. The event is open to the public.

Miss Tennessee USA Pageant Tickets Now On Sale

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors BureauClarksville, TN – Mark your calendars, because the Queens will be back in Clarksville for the 15th year in a row. Brought to you by Greenwood Productions, the 2015 Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Pageant will be held on October 3rd and 4th at the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall in Austin Peay State University Music and Mass Communications Building.

The preliminary show will take place on Friday, October 3rd at 6:30pm. The finals will be broken down into two shows, with the Teens competing at 3:00pm and the Miss contestants competing at 7:30pm. Both the Miss and Teen winners will represent the State of Tenneessee at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants in 2015.

Clarksville-Area Chamber of Commerce crowns 2014 Miss River Queen & Teen

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – Bailey Piercefield has been named Miss River Queen 2014, while Macy Moyer will reign as the new Miss River Teen. The new titleholders were crowned at the pageant held Saturday, March 8th at Austin Peay State University’s Clement Auditorium. They will be moving on to compete at the Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Pageants.

Clarksville to host 2014 Miss Tennessee USA Pageants this Week

 

Clarksville Montgomery County Convention and visitors BureauClarksville, TN – Clarksville will host nearly 100 young women competing in the upcoming 2014 Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA pageants.

Both events will take place at the Austin Peay State University Music and Mass Communications Building on October 4th and 5th, 2013. This will be Clarksville’s fourteenth year hosting the pageants.
