Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned an area-wide water outage on Monday night, January 14th at 9:00pm on Rainbow Street and the surrounding area in the Dogwood Hills Subdivision, Olympic Village Subdivision and Ford Street Subdivision for water valve replacement work.
The following roads will be included in the water outage or may be affected by low water pressure during the work.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service on Susan Street and surrounding area in the Olympic Village and Dogwood Hills subdivisions for fire hydrant replacement.
The following roads will be included in the water outage or will be affected by low water pressure during the work.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed a section of North Ford Street from E. Street to Rainbow Street for water main line maintenance.
Motorists will be detoured to E. Street and Market Street to avoid the work zone.
Clarksville, TN – Yesterday, January 19th, 2014 at 11:13pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a traffic collision on Madison Street near Alfred Drive.
A 2001 Chrysler Town & Country driven by 32-year-old Jamie L. Drenth crossed the center lane and entered the east bound lane striking a 2002 Toyota Camry. The Toyota was struck head on sending all occupants to the hospital.
The driver of the Toyota, 24-year-old Wesley Waterston is in critical condition.
The new park consists of a 2.2-mile, advanced-level trail loop designed for experienced mountain bikers. The 2.2 miles is only the beginning as eventually the Park will have miles of trail designated for advanced, intermediate, and novice riders. It is anticipated that another ¾-miles will be open by mid to late August, as trail development continues weekly.
Mark Tummons, the Director of the Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation took a few minutes to speak with Clarksville Online about the new trails after the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed E Street from Beech Street to Market Street including the E Street and Locust Street intersection to repair a water main leak. Motorists are advised to use Chapel Street and North Ford for access to E Street.
A water outage is also in affect for this section of E Street until approximately 2:00pm when repairs are anticipated to be complete and water restored.
Clarksville, TN – A husband and wife have been charged with false report and arson after claiming their car had been set on fire after an alleged carjacking.
On September 9th, 2011, around 11:00pm, officers were heavily involved in directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic from Riverfest. While in the midst of keeping traffic flowing, officers had to respond to an alleged carjacking which occurred in the area of 668 North Riverside Drive an area with some of some of the heaviest traffic and pedestrian congestion.
