Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a water outage at 8:00am on a section of Tylertown Road from Oakland Road to E. Old Tylertown Road and on Old Tylertown Road for water main and water valve maintenance and upgrade work.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a water outage on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 9:00am on a section of Oakland Road from Meriwether Road to Flower Drive for water main and water valve repair.
The work may also cause low water pressure in the vicinity.

Low water pressure may also affect the area.
Clarksville Police Department
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department says there may be some interruption in traffic flow during the Wounded Warrior Bike Ride on September 28th, 2018. The Wounded Warriors will be escorted by law enforcement during the ride.
The bike ride will leave from Gate 1 at Fort Campbell around 6:30am to Jack Miller Boulevard, to Outlaw Field, onto Tiny Town Road heading to Trenton Road, and following Trenton Road into Kentucky.
Clarksville, Tn — Comments submitted by residents about a proposal to improve Tylertown and Oakland roads show that 70 percent of respondents have a positive view of all or part of the project.
As a result, Mayor Kim McMillan has recommended that the Clarksville Street Department and its consultants move forward to complete the right-of-way design for the project.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have closed Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to through traffic between westbound Exit 4 off ramp and Exit 4 eastbound on ramp and Oakland Road.
Police are processing a crime scene.
CPD will advise when the roadway is reopened.

Clarksville, TN – More than 150 residents turned out Thursday evening to hear about the City’s plan to improve and widen Tylertown Raod and Oakland Road in Northeast Clarksville.
The proposal calls for Tylertown Road to be widened from Trenton Road to the City limits just past Oakland Road, and Oakland will be widened from Tylertown Road to Spring Creek.
City to conduct meeting March 15th at Oakland Elementary
Clarksville, TN – Area residents are invited to attend a public meeting about the City’s plan to improve and widen Tylertown road and Oakland road in Northeast Clarksville.
The meeting, hosted by the Clarksville Street Department, will be from 6:00pm-7:30pm Thursday, March 15th at Oakland Elementary School, 1050 Cherry Blossom Lane, Clarksville.
