APSU Community School of the Arts presenting concerts, recitals, and art exhibit

 

Austin Peay State University LogoThe Austin Peay State University Community School of the Arts (CSA) will be presenting spring recitals and concerts April 30 through May 7.

Today

From 9 a.m.-4 p.m., the Drawing, Ceramic, Photography and Watercolor classes will be displaying their work at the Art Exhibit in the MMC Lobby.

Matt McNeill and Carolyn Bunger’s piano students’ recital will start at 9 a.m. in the MMC Concert Hall.

Jerald Sparks and Chris Davis’ guitar students’ recital will start at 9 a.m. in the MMC, Room 147.

Sylvia Carver’s piano students’ recital will start at 10:30 a.m. in the MMC Concert Hall.

Jeanette Zyko and Mario Kee’s oboe, bassoon and trombone students’ recital will start at 10:30 a.m. in MMC Room 147.

Carol Shippen, Jared Wilson and Stacie Robbins’ piano students’ recital will start at noon in the MMC Concert Hall.

Caleb Wise, JoAnn McIntosh, Rebecca Tinsley and Joseph Bradley’s clarinet, flute, French horn and trumpet students’ recital will start at noon in the MMC, Room 147.

Abbie Hainz and Sadie Slack’s violin and cello students’ recital will start at 1:30 p.m. in the MMC Concert Hall.

Emily Hanna Crane, Seth Gangwer and Elijah Jensen’s violin students’ recital will start at 3 p.m. in the MMC Concert Hall.

Carlos Johnson’s percussion students’ recital will start at 4 p.m. in the MMC, Room 152.

The Puppet Show, presented by the Arts and Theatre class, will start at 5 p.m. in the Trahern Theatre.

Tuesday

Chris Gee, Mingzhe Wang and JoAnn McIntosh’s saxophone, clarinet and flute students’ recital will start at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5 in the MMC, Room 147.

Thursday

Desiree Dolan’s vocal students’ recital will start at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 7 in the MMC, 147.

All events will be free and open to the public. There will be receptions following each concert and recital on April 30 and May 2.
