During a subsequent interview with Stewart on January 14th, Detective Mike Ulrey uncovered that a robbery had not occurred and Stewart’s story had been false.

Stewart told Detective Ulrey that he had actually lost his wallet on his way home and because of the importance of the money in it, didn’t want to tell his family that he had been careless.
