APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Tennis
Troy, AL – Austin Peay women’s tennis team dropped a 5-2 match to Troy, Tuesday, at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. The Lady Govs fall to 2-8 overall while the Trojans improve to 3-4 with the win.

On the singles side, Tomic was the only Lady Govs player to earn a win, which was her eighth-straight at No. 1 singles. Tomic is currently amidst a streak of seven straight-set wins. Carre won the middle set at No. 3 singles, but ended up falling in three sets.
Next for the Lady Govs is a Thursday match at South Alabama. The Jaguars are 5-4 overall being anchored good doubles and a strong bottom lineup. In fact, they are currently 15-1 at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, while posting a 5-1 mark when they win the doubles point.
