9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race to be held June 21st, 2014


The Clarksville Running ClubClarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph 5K-10K Road Race is being held Saturday, June 21st, 2014 Clarksville, TN and is presented by the Clarksville Running Club. The race will be held at Sango United Methodist Church.

The 9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race is a course that is on rolling hills and meanders through the streets and neighborhoods of the Sango community in Clarksville Tennessee.

It offers scenic views of middle Tennessee with warm weather and friendly southern hospitality.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to S.T.E.P.S, a local charity which provides school supplies for underprivileged students in Montgomery County.

The Sango United Methodist Church is located at 3301 Sango Road in Clarksville.

Registration closing date is Thursday, June 19th, 2014.


  • Running-5K – Individual Age group/open – $25.00
  • Running-10K – Individual Age group/open – $30.00
  • Running-Both 5k and 10k – Individual Age group/open – $35.00

Event Schedule and Times

Schedule: Saturday, June 21st,2014

  • 6:00am – Packet pickup and race day registration
  • 6:30am – End of registration for 10k
  • 7:00am – Start of the 10k
  • 8:00am – End of registration for 5k
  • 8:30am – Start of the 5k

Friday, June 20th

2:00pm to 7:00pm at Sango United Methodist Church. Registration will be available at the expo.

Parking is available in the church parking lot.


  • Three deep for Male and Female in both 5k and 10k
  • Overall Male and Female 5k and 10k
  • Overall Masters Male and Female 5k and 10k
  • Overall Grand Masters Male and Female 5k and 10k
  • Awards three deep in each age group (male and female)
  • 19 and under, 20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70 and over.
  • 5k also includes three youth age groups
  • 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19

This years participants must be registered prior to June 10th to be guaranteed a Tech Shirt.

There are no exceptions to race day registration cutoff times.

The Clarksville Running Club is a chapter of the Road Runners Club of America. It is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to promote running and educate the public to its benefits.
