Brunswick, GA – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team completed its trip to Georgia on a positive note as the Govs defeated Coastal Georgia 6-3, Tuesday at the Marta B. Torrey Tennis Complex.

The Govs were able to pick up an additional point with the pairing of freshman Oleg Drobysh and junior Evan Borowski earning an 8-5 victory at the No. 3 slot.
In singles action, both Tverijonas and Jumonville were able to complete undefeated afternoons when Tverijonas cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Rhan Burton at the No. 2 slot and Jumonville earned a hard fought 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 victory over Robin Lucas at No. 3. In other singles matches, senior Dimitar Ristovski earned a 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles while sophomore Manuel Montenegro claimed a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 victory at the No. 5 position.
The Govs return to the court when they open Ohio Valley Conference play with a March, 17th contest at Murray State.
