The eight-game homestand will be highlighted by a pair of Fox 17 Friday Night Firework shows, several giveaways and an Opening Night with all the bells and whistles. ![]() Nashville Sounds being homestand at their new ballpark, “First Tennessee Park”, Friday. (Nashville Sounds) Opening Night: Friday, April 17thNashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox Opening Night: Come celebrate the christening of First Tennessee Park with Opening Night. Mayor Karl Dean will throw out the first pitch and an on-field ceremony will take place at 6:45pm. Ribbon Cutting Event: Mayor Karl Dean, Governor Bill Haslam, Sounds Owner Frank Ward, Sounds GM and COO Garry Arthur, and others will be on hand to participate in a ceremonial ribbon cutting in front of the Jackson Street entrance at First Tennessee Park. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Fox 17 Friday Night Fireworks: After the final out is recorded, the fun has just begun. Fans can stay tuned after the game and enjoy the first of 13 firework shows presented by Fox 17. Piggy Bank Giveaway: The Sounds are kicking off the 2015 promotional schedule in style. The first 4,000 fans will receive a piggy bank giveaway presented by First Tennessee. Saturday, April 18thNashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox Magnetic Schedule Giveaway: 10,000 fans will be able to keep up with the team all year long as the Sounds are giving away a magnetic schedule presented by The Tennesseean. Sunday, April 19thNashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox Autograph Day: Fans can stop by the First Tennessee Park concourse before the game to snap a picture and grab an autograph from their favorite Sounds players. Piedmont Natural Gas Military Sunday: The Sounds will don camouflage jerseys every Sunday home game and offer special military discounts for Military Sundays presented by Tennessee 811 and WSMV Channel 4. Active and veteran military men, women and families can purchase tickets as low as $6.00 in select seating areas with a valid military I.D. Kids Run The Bases: Kids 12 and under can take a lap around the bases following every Sunday game at First Tennessee Park. The Sounds will then travel to face the Round Rock Express (Triple-A Rangers) in a four-game set before returning home on Monday, May 4 to host an eight-game homestand against the Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Cubs) and the Express.
