Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team will compete in its first regular season match for 2016, 6:00pm, Friday, January 29th against Evansville.
Following preseason play, APSU finished with a record of 26-10 for singles, led by the freshmen duo of Claudia Yanes Garcia and Lidia Yanes Garcia.
The last time the two teams faced one another, in 2015, Evansville came away with a 4-3 win. However, the Govs are seeking to build on their promising start to the season, with juniors Isabela Jovanovic and Hannah Tatlock, sophomore Brittney Covington, and newcomer Helena Kuppig completing a strong APSU roster.
