Clarksville, TN – Screaming Eagle Honor Flight announces its first flight of 2018 on May 6th, 2018. There are seats available.
Priority goes to terminally Ill Veterans from any war or conflict. World War II Veterans, Korean War Veterans, and then Vietnam War Veterans.
Applications for Veterans can be downloaded from our website www.screamingeaglehf.org, picked up at the Montgomery County Veterans Service Office in Clarksville, VFW Post 11160 in Clarksville, Dover VFW Post 4730, or The Stewart County Veterans Service Office in Dover.
Screaming Eagle Honor Flight has flown 211 Veterans to DC to visit THEIR memorials since it started in January 2014. These flights are free to the Veterans and are funded by the generous and patriotic donations of Individuals, Groups, Civic Organizations, and Businesses throughout North Central Tennessee and South Central Kentucky.
Screaming Eagle Honor Flight also announces its “Operation One Dollar” fundraiser. It is going on until June 6th, 2018 which coincides with the 74th anniversary of D-day. It is based on a one dollar donation from everyone in the counties we serve which would fund flights for the near future.
You can donate on the go fund me website just type in “Operation One Dollar” or use the link on our face book page, donations can also be mailed to the address below. If your business or organization would like to participate in this drive we can provide donation buckets to put up at your locations.
We are also looking for businesses that would like to run a promotion to benefit Screaming Eagle Honor Flight during this period. Future flights for the 2018 and 2019 time frame are currently being scheduled pending funding.
