Brentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) junior Sabrina Richman has been named Ohio Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week for her work at last weekend’s Samford Indoor Clash in Birmingham, Alabama—site of the 2020 OVC Indoor Championships.

Richman once again dominated the 400m dash, posting a 56.14 mark for her season’s first win in the event to retake the league lead.
That mark ranks 73rd among Division I student-athletes this season. She also ran a leg of the 4x400m relay which took runner-up honors at 3:51.60.
This is Richman’s fourth weekly honor from the league overall and third during indoor competition. She’s the second Gov this season to earn OVC Track Athlete of the Week honors, joining freshman Kenisha Phillips. Through three weeks, four of the six weekly honors (three each for track and field events) have gone to student-athletes from Austin Peay.
Richman and the rest of the Govs are back in action this weekend at the Thundering Herd Invitational in Huntington, West Virginia.
