Tennessee Department of Health reports 9,056 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, December 14th, 2020
Nashville, TN – On Monday, December 14th, 2020, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 421,624 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 9,056 cases from Sunday’s 412,568. There have been 4,964 (+62) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.
T H R E E H U N D R E D S E V E N new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 8,797. Fifty of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There has been 102 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health today, Monday, December 14th, 2020 announced the state has received its first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine ahead of statewide shipment on Thursday.
The state obtained an early shipment of 975 doses to hold as an emergency backup supply should any receiving hospital’s supply be damaged.
