President Donald Trump Signs Executive Order to Lower Drug Prices in Fight against Big Pharmacy

 

The White HouseWashington, D.C. – “President Donald Trump signed an executive order Sunday to lower the cost of prescription drugs,” Peter Aitken reports for Fox News.
 
“My Most Favored Nation order will ensure that our Country gets the same low price Big Pharma gives to other countries. The days of global freeriding at America’s expense are over,” President Trump wrote on Twitter.

Unemployment Claimants Work Search Requirement to Resume

Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett Extends Emergency Order #18 until September 22nd

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett signed Emergency Order #19 today to extend Emergency Order #18, which requires the wearing of face masks by all employees of businesses open to the public in Montgomery County.

On July 3rd, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee issued Executive Order #54 giving authority to county mayors to issue COVID-19 Coronavirus mask requirements. Montgomery County is one of 89 counties in the state of Tennessee that was given this authority.

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 169,130 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee as of Monday, September 14th, 2020. That is an increase of 2,331 cases from Sunday’s 166,799 There have been 2,026 (+18) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been THIRTY SIX new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 2,790. There has been forty (+1) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.
