This Week at ASPU: Austin Peay State University Homecoming Week starts Today

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Homecoming Week is a bit different this year. The COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic forced homecoming from last fall to this spring.

The festivities start today with the Homecoming BBQ & SGA T-shirt Giveaway at 11:00am and finish up when the football team hosts UT Martin at 2:00pm Sunday, March 21st.

Community School of the Arts at Austin Peay State University offers first weekend workshop, opens spring registration

 

Austin Peay State University Community School for the ArtsClarksville, TN – The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Austin Peay State University last month offered its first-ever one-day weekend workshop. And because of the workshop’s success, the school hopes to offer more soon.

CSA officials also announced open registration for classes this spring. The deadline to register is Friday, January 29th, 2021. Spring classes begin during the first week in February.

If Austin Peay Could Talk: Marcus’ Story

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – I didn’t realize how difficult it would be for me to share my story. There is a lot of hurt and disappointment in my story as it relates to the racism and anti-blackness.

I almost made the decision to not participate in the project because I don’t want to repeat the hurt that has been inflicted on me.
