TBI arrests David Vaughn of Springfield in Theft Case

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) have obtained an indictment for a Springfield man in connection to the theft of more than a quarter of a million dollars from his former employer.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents began investigating David Kent Vaughn (DOB 4-27-68) on November 14th, 2017.

David Kent Vaughn of Springfield has been arrested and charged with one count of Theft.

TBI reports Former Jail Officer Drew Mansfield from Clarksville arrested for Introducing Contraband

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a now former correctional officer at the Cheatham County Jail, who stands accused of abusing his position to introduce contraband into the facility.

TBI indicts Clarksville Man, Accused of Assaulting Inmate and Official Misconduct

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a Clarksville man accused of assaulting an inmate with a stun gun while on duty as a jailer for the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents began investigating Mark Bryant (DOB 3-8-78) on August 3rd, shortly after surveillance video surfaced of an incident inside the jail on November 5th, 2016.

TBI charges Clarksville Man for Murder in 2016 Cheatham County Homicide

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – In an ongoing investigation with the assistance of the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office, Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an indictment for a Clarksville man in connection to the 2016 homicide of an Ashland City man.

At the request of District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents began investigating the death of Calvin Sidney Baggett on April 11th, 2016, shortly after authorities found his body in his Petway Road home.

TBI arrests Former Volunteer Fire Department Treasurer in Theft Case

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of an Ashland City man accused of stealing from the Henrietta Volunteer Fire Department.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on May 27th, 2015, TBI Special Agents began investigating Jon Micheal Pace following a theft complaint. At that time, Pace served as Treasurer for the Henrietta Volunteer Fire Department in Cheatham County.

Former Cheatham County Central Band Booster Club Treasurer Indicted for Theft

 

Tennessee Comptroller of the TreasuryNashville, TN – A special investigation by the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office has revealed that Tracy Krantz stole at least $3,072 from the Cheatham County Central High School Band Boosters.

Ms. Krantz stole the money between July 2013 and October 2013 while serving as the band booster club treasurer.

Comptroller investigators found that Ms. Krantz made unauthorized ATM withdrawals of band booster funds and kept the money for her own benefit. Ms. Krantz admitted to investigators that she used these funds for her house payments. «Read the rest of this article»

Former West Cheatham Elementary School PTO Treasurer Charged with Theft

 

Tennessee Comptroller of the TreasuryNashville, TN – A special investigation by the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office has revealed that former West Cheatham Elementary School PTO treasurer Beth Christie stole at least $7,450.

Ms. Christie stole the money between December 2012 and May 2014. Comptroller investigators found that she withheld thousands of dollars in cash fundraiser collections from deposit into the PTO bank account. Ms. Christie also kept $800.00 that she withdrew using the organization’s ATM/debit card.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charge Bobby Blaylock of Cheatham County on Kidnapping, Rape

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment of a Cheatham County man on charges of kidnapping and rape.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Special Agents and deputies with the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Bobby Eugene Blaylock on April 3rd.

During the course of the investigation, Agents determined that earlier that day, Blaylock, who had an active warrant for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry, was with the victim at a park in Ashland City.

Four Arrested for Animal Cruelty by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department arrested four individuals after they were indicted by the Cheatham County grand jury yesterday on multiple counts of animal cruelty stemming from a dog fighting operation that was discovered in Ashland City, Tennessee in November 2012.

James Callis, 31, of 1823 Marowbone Road in Ashland City was charged with one count of animal fighting, one count of cruelty to animals and one count of aggravated cruelty to animals.
