The Vols (13-5, 4-3 SEC) are coming off a road win at South Carolina, in which Lamonté Turner dropped a career-high-tying 25 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and converted on all 10 attempts from the charity stripe. He now has three of the four highest scoring efforts by the Vols this season, all while coming off the bench.

Junior forward Admiral Schofield posted one of his most impressive performances since coming to Rocky Top with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting, nine rebounds, four assists, a career-high four steals and a block.
Nashville, TN – Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) recently honored four Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency wildlife officers during the 2017 Statewide Night of Remembrance and Awards Ceremony.
TWRA wildlife officers Greg Julian, Josh Landrum, and Jeff Roberson were honored by MADD Tennessee for their efforts on removing boating under the influence (BUI) operators from Tennessee waterways thus enhancing safety and saving lives.

Knoxville, TN – Robert Hubbs III scored 16 points, including the 1,000th of his Tennessee career, as the Vols fell to Vanderbilt 67-56 on Wednesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Admiral Schofield added 11 points and Grant Williams recorded his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds, but a slow start and inefficient shooting prevented the Volunteers (15-13, 7-8 SEC) from climbing back into the game.
Jeff Roberson led the Commodores (14-14, 8-7 SEC) with 15 points, shooting 5-of-10 from the floor. Nolan Cressler scored 11 points, including three key second-half 3-pointers.

UT snapped a two-game skid on Saturday, picking up a 90-70 win over Missouri behind 25 points from freshman Grant Williams and 21 points from senior Robert Hubbs III. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt grabbed a 71-62 victory over then-No. 21 South Carolina in Nashville.

Wednesday marks the 189th meeting all-time between UT and VU in a series that dates to 1922. It is the second-longest series in Tennessee basketball history (trailing the 218 all-time meetings between the Vols and Kentucky), and UT’s 116 wins over the Commodores are its most over any opponent.
Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission announces Water Fowl Seasons and Fishing Proposals at August meeting
Morristown, TN – The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission approved the 2015-16 late waterfowl hunting seasons and was presented the 2016-17 state’s fishing regulations proposals at its August meeting on Friday. In addition, the participants in Tennessee’s 2015 elk hunt were announced.
