Portland, TN – Rossview High School’s volleyball team will make another return to the TSSAA sectional tournament — but it will have to do so on the road – as the Lady Hawks lost in the Region 5-AAA tournament finals Oct. 15th to Portland High School 3-0, by scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-23.
The Lady Hawks (27-3) struggled early in their match with the Lady Panthers, having to go five games versus Mt. Juliet High School in the semifinals – the first time this season that Rossview had gone the full five games in a match.
Clarksville, TN – The Rossview Lady Hawks are the 2013 District 10-AAA Champions.
They defeated the West Creek Lady Coyotes 3-1 (25-8, 27-25, 25-6, 25-12) in an action filled Championship match at Rossview High School Saturday afternoon. Both teams will travel to play in Regional action later.
“They did really well,“ Lady Hawks head coach Jen Garinger said. “During the season I think West Creek would mentally let us get to them. I think they got over that and definitely proved they are the second seed in this district. Our girls just had to realize that they were not going to let up and they had to come back and fight harder.”
Rossview High School Lady Hawks Volleyball defeat Northeast High School Lady Eagles 3-0, advance to Championship
Clarksville, TN – The Rossview Lady Hawks continued their home court dominance in District 10-AAA semifinal action. They defeated the Northeast Eagles 3-0 (25-2, 25-5, 25-8) to advance to the Championship game.
The Lady Hawks offense overwhelmed the Lady Eagles. They generated 20 kills and 20 aces in the match. Janie White led her team with 21 kills and 3 blocks. Regan Comperry generated 5 kills, 14 aces and made 14 assists.
Rossview High School Lady Hawks Volleyball defeat Northwest High School Lady Vikings 3-0, advance to District 10-AAA Semifinals
Clarksville, TN – In District 10-AAA quarterfinal play at Rossview High School, the Rossview Lady Hawks Volleyball defeated the Northwest Lady Vikings 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-10). The Lady Hawks came into the quarterfinals undefeated in the conference. They continued to play in dominating fashion against the Lady Vikings Thursday evening.
Rossview Lady Hawks head coach Jennifer Garinger is pleased with the way her team is playing going into the semifinals.
Rossview High School Lady Hawks soar past Henry County High School Lady Patriots 3-0 to remain Undefeated

Clarksville, TN – The Rossview High Lady Hawks kept their undefeated streak alive with a 3-0 (25-7, 25-13, 25-12) win at home against the Henry County Lady Patriots.
The Rossview High gym was filled with sounds of shoes squeaking on hardwood, whistles blowing and the distinct “Pow” of bare hands powerfully slapping volleyballs. Most of those “Pows” came from the Rossview Lady Hawks side of the court as their hitters proved to be too much to handle for the Lady Patriots defenders.
Rossview High School Volleyball continues undefeated run through 10-AAA with win over Kenwood High School
Clarksville, TN – Despite getting off to a little bit of a slow start, Rossview High School’s volleyball team continued its season opening undefeated run August 28th with a 3-0 District 10-AAA win over Kenwood High School, by scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-6.
Kenwood (0-5, 0-5 District 10-AAA), who has continued to improve every time out, despite still looking for its first win, opened up the match by scoring the first two points of Game 1 on a block by Morgan Corland and Diamond Foster followed by a kill by Foster.
Clarksville, TN – Defending TSSAA Sectional finalist Rossview High School’s volleyball team picked up where it left off last year, as they opened up their 2013, and District 10-AAA, schedule August 20th with a 3-0 sweep over Northwest High School, by scores of 25-6, 25-6 and 25-10.
Four different Lady Hawks recorded at least five kills versus the Lady Vikings, led by the 2012 District 10-AAA Player of the Year Janie White’s 10.
