Clarksville, TN – On Monday, July 13th, 2020, Wendy J. Davis announced her candidacy for the Office of Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk. Davis is a 24-year employee of the Circuit Court Office, with 18 of those as the Chief Deputy Clerk.
Davis has been a Clarksville resident since 1979, after her father was stationed at Fort Campbell, and has called Montgomery County home ever since. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1990 and in 1996 began her career with the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office.
Clarksville, TN – A longtime local trustee official has announced her candidacy to be the next Montgomery County Trustee.
Corinthia P. Elder, 47, has qualified to run in the May Republican primary. If she wins, she’ll run in the August general election to succeed current Trustee Brenda Radford. She currently serves as the county’s chief deputy trustee.
“It’s very important that the next County Trustee be someone with the education, experience and leadership skills to lead the office,” Elder said. “I believe with my past work experience, I am qualified to hit the ground running and lead the office forward on Day One.”

Montgomery County Republican Party announces Rick Santorum as the keynote speaker for Annual Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Republican Party is pleased to announce former Pennsylvania Senator, Founder of Patriot Voices and 2012 Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum as the keynote speaker for our Annual Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner. Mr. Santorum will be introduced by Former United States Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
A native of Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum was a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2012 and became known as a voice for conservatives who didn’t feel their voice was being represented.

The Republican Party chose Keith Svadba as Chairman, Claudia Erb as Women Co-Chair, David Cooper as Men Co-Chair, Rita Wilson as Recording Secretary, Carol Duffin as Corresponding Secretary, Helga Redd as Treasurer, Art Carpenter as Assistant Treasurer, and Michael Jenkins as Publicity Chair.
Clarksville, TN – Dr. Mark Green, the conservative Republican candidate for State Senate in District 22, spoke to a packed house at the monthly Montgomery County Republican Party meeting Tuesday evening.
Green spoke in detail about the current economic climate in the district and how he will use his experience as a small business owner to help foster an environment that is ripe for job creation
Clarksville, TN – For as long as I can remember New Years Day has always been a time for reflection, resolutions and change. But as we usher in the 2012 New Year, quality of life changes are not the only things we all need to consider.
January 1st, 2012 also brought with it the installation of the new Tennessee Voter Photo ID Law. The new law requires all people to show a valid state or federal government-issued photo ID in order to vote at the polls.
Regardless of political party affiliation, without the proper photo ID, you won’t be able to vote for anyone during the election season this includes National, State or Local elections such as the President, school board, city council, congress or House of Representatives both federal and state levels, etc.
The Montgomery County Republican Party will be having a Summer Picnic Saturday July 17th, 2010 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Beachaven Winery located at 1100 Dunlop Lane Clarksville, TN.
Event includes free food, music, and meet & greets with Candidates for Governor, Congress, & other various elected offices.
Beachaven will have wine for sale and the musical entertainment will be the Ivan Colon and Cindy McElroy
No outside alcohol will be allowed.
