Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Blake Ludy captured

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports that Blake Thomas Ludy has been taken into custody at 10:05pm by multiple agencies in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

MCSO would like to thank the Greenbrier Police Department, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol for their assistance in apprehending Ludy.

Ludy was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for the shooting that occurred Sunday morning at Rotary Park.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate Investigator Sergeant Mark Wojnarek on his promotion to Lieutenant.

Lieutenant Wojnarek began is law enforcement career as a Corrections Deputy with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office in October 1997. He continued his career in corrections with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in August 1999 where he rose to the rank of Sergeant and Team Leader for their Special Operations Response Team.

TBI adds Robertson County homicide suspect Ricardo Murray Jr. Top Ten Most Wanted List

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: Ricardo Lamont Murray, Jr., of Nashville.

Murray (DOB 2-7-98) is wanted by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to face charges of Homicide, Aggravated Robbery, and Theft resulting from an incident in Cedar Hill on October 24th, during which authorities believe Murray fatally shot a man, Jonathan Outlaw, who was attempting to sell him a vehicle.

TBI arrests Cross Plains Police Officer on charges of Sexual Battery by Authority Figure

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Robertson County School Resource Officer on charges of sexual battery by an authority figure.

At the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Special Agents began investigating Charles Logan Abernathy on November 30th. Abernathy serves as a School Resource Officer at East Robertson High School.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office recovers Stolen Property from Vehicle Burglaries

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) have recovered over $1500 worth of stolen property taken from multiple vehicles.

Seventeen vehicles were burglarized sometime between Sunday evening and early Monday morning in the Farmington Subdivision.

Stolen items included iPads, cell phones, gift cards, cash, credit cards, keys, personal products, household items, clothing, jewelry, wallets, coins, and ID’s.

TBI reports Robertson County Fugitive Joe Anthony Mercado Ortiz Captured

 

Ortiz Nabbed after 11 Years on the Run

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the coordinated intelligence efforts from multiple other agencies has resulted in the arrest of a fugitive who has eluded capture for over a decade.

In November 2005, detectives with the Springfield Police Department obtained warrants charging a man, who used the false identity of Joe Anthony Mercado Ortiz, with 4 counts of Child Rape and 5 counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery.

Ortiz was arrested on November 15th, 2005, and was released after posting a $125,000 bond.

Clarksville Police reports Shots Fired Call this morning leads to Vehicle Pursuit

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Early this morning, March 18th, 2016 at 12:24am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a Shots Fired call at the 200 block of Timber Court. No one was injured, but a vehicle was damaged by the gunshots.

The owner of the damaged vehicle said she heard five to six shots. She stated that she saw Tionna Thomas driving a burgundy Trailblazer with other occupants quickly flee the area.

Clarksville Police responded this morning to a shots fired call at Timber Court. This led to a multi-agency vehicle pursuit that resulted in the suspects capture.

TBI arrests Four People after investigation into Murder of Clarksville Woman

 

Fifth Individual Added to TBI’s Most Wanted List

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, with the assistance of the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Clarksville Police Department, have arrested four Clarksville residents in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was found in a field in Robertson County last month.

At the request of 19th Judicial District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Special Agents, in a joint investigation with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a scene off Highway 76 in Robertson County, where burned human remains were found on February 1st.

At the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Special Agents, in a joint investigation with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a scene where a burned body was found on February 1st.

TBI reports Charles Smith of Clarksville indicted in Attack of Robertson County Woman

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained indictments for a Clarksville man accused of entering a Millersville woman’s trailer and robbing and attacking her in June.

At the request of the 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Special Agents, along with officers from the Millersville Police Department, the Goodlettsville Police Department and the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, investigated an incident that took place the morning of June 27th, 2014, at the Owl’s Roost RV Park in Millersville.
