Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryClarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s annual summer reading program will kick off June 11th, 2018 with a lineup of events and resources designed to encourage children, teens and adults to exercise their minds by reading through the summer vacation. The theme of this year’s program is “Libraries Rock” with music playing a large role in the programming.

In addition to all of the fun events happening throughout the six-week Summer Reading Program, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is pleased to announce that they are hosting a free lunch program for the children of Montgomery County.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library seeks Volunteers for Scholastic Book Fair

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryClarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library needs volunteers to help with the Scholastic Book Fair to be held from June 20th to June 24th from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Shifts for each day will be: 9:00am to 12:00pm, 12:00pm to 3:00pm and from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library Scholastic Book Fair

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryClarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair that’s happening now through Friday, June 21st.

The Scholastic Book Fair is going in the atrium of the Library. Come on in today for the best selection. The library uses all the profits from this sale to support the programs for children and young adults.

APSU Child Learning Center holds Scholastic Book Fair

 

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – The Child Learning Center at Austin Peay State University will hold a Scholastic Book Fair from 8:00am-5:00pm, beginning Thursday, September 1st and continuing through September 9th at the center.

The APSU Child Learning Center is located in the Sexton Building at 637 North Eighth Street.

Funds raised will help purchase books for the classroom libraries and the children. The public is invited to attend this reading event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers. «Read the rest of this article»

Summer reading program at Children’s Library begins today.

 

libraryIf you are looking for a creative way to cool off inside this summer then sign your child up for the “Be Creative at your Library“, Summer Reading Program at the Montgomery County Library.

The program kicks off today at 2pm with the T’ween Scene Program, where your “T’ween”  can come and express themselves in age appropriate art activities.
