Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Recently, Manna Café received a $29,675 “Kitchen Reboot” grant from the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Program. Funding will be used to update and expand the commercial kitchen at the Franklin Street location.

Each year, 23,000 hot, nutritious meals are prepared in this kitchen for Mobile Cafe, Manna Café’s soup kitchen program.

Nine Hopkinsville Community College students inducted into SALUTE Veteran National Honor Society

 

Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) inducted 9 new members to its local chapter of the SALUTE Veteran National Honor Society.

Students selected for recognition through SALUTE received a certificate and military-style challenge coin commemorating their membership in the honor society and their specific level of academic achievement as well as opportunities to network, give and get assistance to fellow members or veterans.
