Clarksville, TN – Three Homes were destroyed in a fire on Nadia Drive fire around 11:00am on September 22nd in the Arboure Green South subdivision just off exit 1 in Clarksville, Tennessee. The cause of the fire is still undetermined, but here is what is known at this time.
The fire started in the middle of three homes, that was owned by a Fort Campbell Soldier who had just left on deployment that morning. While Clarksville Firefighters were working to put out the initial blaze, the winds shifted and the house located to the right side caught fire. After another wind shift, the house to the left caught fire as well.
Clarksville Resident Robert Spire submitted the following video of the fire to Clarksville Online.
Due to their close proximity, houses to the left and right of the three destroyed homes also suffered minor damage from the heat as did two other homes located behind the subject properties. In all there were seven homes affected according to the USAA insurance adjuster on the scene. All seven homes and three vehicles were insured with USAA insurance.
Of the three homes, the family from the home left were renters. The resident is the wife of a Fort Campbell Soldier on deployment, and she was due to have a baby the following day. The USAA insurance adjuster stated this family was in a much greater need for assistance as they didn’t have any type of renters insurance protecting their belongings.

US Bank will be setting up special accounts to which people can send donations to help the families that lost their homes in the fire. Anyone looking to donate money to these families can do so by going to any US Bank Location. Information on the account numbers for each family should be available on Thursday and this will be updated when it becomes available
Be sure to check back for additional information as it becomes available. Details about the fires were limited as of this evening. Fire inspectors should complete their investigation to determine the cause of the fires in the next few days.
