APSU’s 2010 Homecoming themed ‘Peay Paradise,’ October 4th-9th

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will celebrate Homecoming 2010 with the theme, “Peay Paradise,” from October 4th-9th. Homecoming 2010 includes events for all ages, and most of the events are open to the public.

Monday, October 4th

Step-Off
12:30pm, Morgan University Center Plaza (rain location – Memorial Health Gym)
Enjoy the traditional Organization Step-Off.

APSU Apollo (student talent show)
7:00pm, Red Barn (Memorial Health Building)
Free and open to the public. Sponsored by Govs Programming Council. Students amaze the audience with their talent.

Friday, October 8th

31st Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament
8:00am, Swan Lake Golf Course
$60.00 per person. Open to the public.
Sponsored by Budweiser of Clarksville.
Fee includes ditty bag, refreshments on the golf course and light lunch. Frazier Allen (’99), chair.

44th Annual Alumni-Varsity Golf Match
1:00pm shotgun start, Clarksville Country Club
Men’s varsity golf alumni compete against the current men’s golf team in this annual event. Includes lunch from noon – 1:00pm.

20th Annual Dave Aaron Reception

Homecoming Scholarship 5K Run
8:00am, Clement Building, front lawn, College Street.
Registration $20.00 in advance, $25.00 day of race. Open to the public, all ages. Fee includes T-shirt and refreshments; prizes and cash awards. Agriculture Alumni – Family Farm Fun Day

All APSU agriculture alumni and their families are welcome to come out to the APSU farm to see some of our new additions including Belted Galloway cattle, a prize Angus bull and renewable energy technologies. Other activities will include hayrides and games for the kids. Refreshments will be served.
