Clarksville, TN – Early morning rain, turned to sleet and then to snow as weather conditions worsen across the Montgomery County area. Roads are already icing up in the more shaded areas. Motorists are cautioned to be careful and to take it easy on the drive home today.
As a cold front pushes eastward across Middle Tennessee, temperatures will continue to drop and one to two inches of snow, in some cases three or more, are expected. Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be closing two hours early today due to incoming weather conditions. More updates will be posted as they come in.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be dismissed two hours early today due to incoming weather conditions. Please be aware that bus routes will run two hours earlier than normal today. Afterschool activities will be canceled for today.
School Closing Early Today – Due to inclement weather bus riders and student drivers will be released at 11:30am. All other students will be released at 12:00pm. No aftercare will be held this afternoon.
City of Clarksville
Clarksville Parks and Recreation main office, community centers and New Providence Aquatic Center has closed today because of inclement weather. Also, the city’s Revenue Department and City Court has closed early.
City Chief of Staff Charlie Koon has notified city department heads and employees to use their discretion on Tuesday morning’s commute, and employees should notify their supervisors if they will be arriving late for work. While all city offices will be open on Tuesday, employee safety remains a priority.
Montgomery County Government has closed all offices this afternoon due to inclement weather.
Emergency departments are still operating as scheduled.
Fort Campbell KY
Fort Campbell Military Post will be closing at 1:00pm today. Fort Campbell schools will close at 1:00pm today as well.
Austin Peay State University
Closed – Due to rapidly declining weather conditions, APSU is closing immediately. This includes all evening activities and classes at Fort Campbell and Dickson.
All Clarksville night time classes are canceled.
